Can I confess that confession has fallen by the wayside in my walk all too often?
In our small group, we talked about the double-sided nature of confession. It's both airing out our sins and professing love. I think it's important to remember that confession is not just doing the laundry list of sins, but being authentic about our failures as well as our love and worship. We confess to God that we love God, and often that means confessing we have failed God.
